Miranda and Andrew got engaged at the Great Point Lighthouse during the beginning of their vacation on Nantucket. They wanted to have an engagement session to celebrate this special time before they got married. It was such a beautiful spring day to have an engagement session. I met them at the iconic Sankaty Lighthouse and I was so happy that there were still Daffodils in bloom. We were only here for just a short while. On our way to downtown Sconset, we stopped along the way and took some pictures under the white cherry blossoms. I loved this time during their session because the sun was glowing through the trees. Then we went to downtown Sconset where we took some photos on the white bridge before we went to the beach. It was such a wonderful evening during the golden hour and the lighting was just perfect. We even had a beautiful pastel sky and the ocean was such a pretty blue color. I loved how laid back this couple was. They were so comfortable in front of the camera and were glowing with happiness. There were so many smiles and laughs along the way. I loved that they were up for anything such as walking on the water’s edge and piggyback rides. They were such a wonderful couple and it was really great getting to know them before their wedding. Because we had such a great time together it made me all that more excited to photograph their beautiful wedding. Check out their intimate Brant Point wedding here.
