Nantucket was built for the sweetest memories with its slow pace of life, pristine beachy beauty, and historic energy.
Being born and raised here you’d think some of the charm would’ve worn off by now … not-a-chance!
I LOVE that I am still discovering new pockets of the island all these years later. That I’ve grown a life of my own here. And that every season brings a wave of old and new friends—excited to make new memories with me.
“She truly loves what she does and cares about the photos and her clients. Rachel is one of the main reasons our family will be going back to Nantucket. The experience was unparalleled to any photographer we’ve
ever used. She calmly guided us through the session, making everyone very relaxed so our joy and happiness was easily reflected in the photos.”

It’s impossible not to take your session home with me at the end of the day (not only because it’s literally my job), because I know how much these moments truly mean to you today …. And will mean down the road.
Knowing that I’m being chosen to capture that for you gets me all kinds of emotional.
Catch me crying all the…
happy-heart tears,
too-cute-to-bear-it tears,
and what-is-this-life tears.
Maybe they’ll start in the middle of your father-daughter dance or while I’m editing your family’s gallery. Or years later, something will randomly remind me of our session. We’re forever connected by the time we spent together.
And I wouldn’t have it any other way.
The oddest feedback I’ve ever received from a client when I asked why they hired me was “because you look like someone we could smile at”. Every time this pops into my head it makes me laugh.
As you probably guessed from the waterworks above, I’m an empath. Aka a HSP (highly sensitive person).
Aka a big o'l softy born to feel it all.
My husband is easily my favorite person in the world. But my fur babies Luna and Violet are a close second.
Hands down the best place I’ve traveled to so far is Iceland. If I could live there I totally would (what can I say I love islands)! One day I hope to go back to see the northern lights!
