Josh took Krisdee to Edgartown in Martha’s Vineyard for an amazing vacation this summer. Their week in Martha’s Vineyard started with a delicious lobster dinner on Menemsha Beach while watching the beautiful pink sunset. During their time together on the beach Josh got down on one knee and asked Krisdee to marry him right as the sun was setting. What an incredible surprise proposal! “It was the most perfect place with the most perfect proposal and the most perfect man.” Krisdee had said. As if that wasn’t amazing enough at the end of their vacation they took a day trip to Nantucket. During their short stay, they wanted to explore the island and have an engagement session. They wanted to capture this special moment in their life together.

They had contacted me the night before and asked if I was available. I was so happy that I could capture this special time for them and to be able to meet such a wonderful couple. They wanted to have their engagement session on Main Street. They just loved the charm of Nantucket and the look of the shingled homes. What a perfect location than downtown Nantucket. We couldn’t have asked for better weather. It was such a gorgeous sunny day! I captured them in some of my most favorite places along Main St. Then we stopped at the Wharf to get some beautiful photos by the water. They even rented a bike for a fun prop. I just loved how spontaneous and fun this couple was. They were down for anything! Being able to capture the love that these two have was just perfect. They were constantly smiling and having a good time. We did all this just right before they got on the ferry to head back home. What an incredible way to end their already amazing vacation.
