This sweet family wanted to have a family session during their vacation here on Nantucket. They come to Nantucket every couple of years and stay at their family home. It was an extra special session for them as they were celebrating a few things, they had a few new additions to the family and they were all together on a fun vacation. This family lives in all different parts of the world so having everyone in one location was extra special. What perfect reason to have a family session.

I met them at the Sankaty Lighthouse. A beautiful location and loved by many. We didn’t stay here too long and then headed to the Sconset beach where we spent the remainder of our time together. Sconset beach doesn’t disappoint! I just absolutely love the area. It is so beautiful and has a lot to offer. We had such a great time together. They snuggled, laughed, did toss-ups, and played on the beach. We couldn’t have asked for a better evening with those beautiful pastel skies.

The next morning at sunrise we had a small session at the rose-covered cottage in Sconset. The roses are only there for a short time in the summer and it is definitely something you shouldn’t miss. It is one of my favorite locations in the month of July. Makes for such a wonderful backdrop for a special occasion such as this. It was such a pretty morning and I had a great time with them. I loved capturing this special time for them and capturing these moments for them during their time here on Nantucket. I am looking forward to when I get to photograph this sweet family again.
