Jenna and Justin’s Wedding at The Nantucket Hotel

I met Jenna and Justin back in October 2020. Justin surprised Jenna with a proposal. It was such an exciting time! You can see their proposal here. The, in 2021, they reached out to me and asked if I could photograph their wedding in June of 2022. I, of course, said yes and was so excited.

The wedding day finally arrived, and what a beautiful day it was. Their venue was The Nantucket Hotel, and their ceremony would take place at Brant Point Lighthouse. I first met Jenna at the hotel where she was getting ready with her bridesmaids. The highlight during this time was the letter exchange between the couple. They were to read this before they said I do. This was such a great moment to capture. She was so happy that she was going to be marrying her best friend. Then we had a champagne toast with her bridesmaids to celebrate the day before getting into their dresses. Jenna did a first look with her bridesmaids, which was fun to capture. Then her mother helped her with some final touches before she had her First Look with Justin. Jenna had her grand entrance down the stairs at the front of the hotel for the First Look. She tapped him on the shoulder, and he turned around to see her. They were so happy to see each other. After they had their moment, we then captured all the portraits before the ceremony started.

Having the ceremony at Brant Point Lighthouse was the perfect setting. It was so pretty with the blue water, sand, sky, and lighthouse in the background. They had a beautiful ceremony surrounded by their friends and family. It was such a joyous moment to capture. Once the ceremony ended, they headed back to the hotel to start the cocktail party. Everyone was having a great time! I pulled Justin and Jenna aside just before the sunset for some pictures in front of the hotel. Once the cocktail party ended, they had their big entrance into the ballroom, where they kicked off the start of their reception. They started their reception with dancing before leading into their first dance. They then had Hora dance, followed by speeches and formal dances. Once dinner was through, more dancing began! They had such a blast dancing and mingling with their friends and family for the rest of the evening.

I had such a great time working with Jenna and Justin from the moment they got engaged. I loved being the one to capture these special events in their life. I’m so happy for this wonderful couple. Cheers to them! I hope you enjoy looking through the photos of their beautiful wedding day.
