MiaComet Beach has special meaning to Andrew and Taylor. It’s the beach that Andrew proposed to Taylor the year prior to our session. It only made sense to have their engagement shoot at MiaComet Beach. Their session started with that glowy light but about halfway through it turned to fog. That classic Nantucket weather. It being foggy wasn’t a bad thing at all. I think it made their session even more intimate and special. They wanted to have a session that showed their personalities and their goofy side. We kept things fun and relaxed. They smiled and laughed the whole time. Capturing who they were together as a couple was so wonderful. I had such a great time with them. It felt like I was with a couple of friends. One of my favorite parts of our time together was when I asked just after their champagne toast if they would want to photograph by the water. I was so happy that they said yes. They weren’t afraid of getting wet and fully embraced the idea. It was a great way to end our time together.
