Daniel and Addison planned a trip for Labor Day weekend with their family. They decided to stay in Hyannis and explore the area. On that Tuesday they were going to spend a lovely morning in Martha’s Vineyard and then the remaining of the day enjoy Nantucket. While on Nantucket Daniel wanted to plan a surprise proposal. The plan was to propose before they departed on the ferry that evening. He wanted to take a walk from town with Addison and their family to Brant Point Lighthouse. Once they got to the lighthouse the family was going in one direction toward the water and then they were going to go in another direction to get a better view of the lighthouse. Then that was when Daniel was going to propose!

The day had finally arrived and it was such a beautiful day! At about 5 I headed to the lighthouse to set up my spot waiting for them to arrive. Everything was going according to plan. I got the text that they were on their way and then I could see them approaching. As planned the family went in one direction and the couple went in another direction to get a better view of the lighthouse. That’s when Daniel got down on one knee and proposed. Addison was so surprised and didn’t have a clue that this was going to happen. His reaction was perfect and he said yes!!! It was such an exciting moment. Then the family gathered around to congratulate them. We first took some photos of Daniel and Addison with their family and the remaining of the session of just the two of them. I had such a great time with them. They were so easy-going to work with and a joy to be around. They smiled the whole time and were so in love which was wonderful. I loved capturing this exciting time for them!
