We started our session at the Sconset beach where we did a quick family session with Cena’s family. They just wanted a few photos to capture their time together while on vacation. Once we finished at the beach with the family photos we headed back to town where we started the engagement session. It was important to them to have an engagement session on Nantucket because Cena has been coming to the island since she was a little girl. Nantucket is one of Cena’s favorite places in the world. She introduced Chris to the island several years ago and he loves it too. They picked Sconset as their location because it has a little bit of everything that gives that Nantucket vibe. Sconset in late summer is absolutely gorgeous and is one of my favorite places to photograph. So many beautiful spots for pictures at every corner. They wanted to have a session that was fun, casual, and candid. A session that was comfortable and that captured who they really are as a couple. We started the session with a nice stroll around town and stopped at all the pretty gardens along the way. We then headed to the beach and along the way and we just had to stop for a few photos on the bridge. Once we got to the beach is when they started to have fun. They laughed, cuddled, kissed, and walked along the water. The best part was at the end of the session when they got in the water! I really had a great time with them and they were such a joy to photograph. They were so laid back and so fun to be around. I wish this wonderful couple a beautiful wedding full of love, laughter, great food, company, and a lifetime of happiness. Cheers to the happy couple!
