Justin had reached out to me last fall because he wanted to document proposing to the love of his life! He had planned a little getaway to Nantucket and stayed out in Madaket just minutes away from the beach. Justin had a plan and we worked together to make it all happen. The plan was for them to walk to the beach for a beautiful sunset just before dinner. I was set up on the beach like a normal person enjoying my time. He was to go towards the left once he got there and that’s where I was waiting for the magic to happen. Once they enjoyed a moment together he got down on one knee and she said YES!!! She had no idea that he had planned everything and it was a complete surprise. They were just the cutest! So excited that they were engaged. Smiling, kissing, and hugging each other. Once I gave them a moment to soak it all in we got to photographing some portraits. We finished the night with a beautiful Madaket sunset before they headed to Straight Wharf for dinner to celebrate.

What a gorgeous fall evening we had. I had such a great time with them! I loved how their proposal was true to them. Capturing such a beautiful engagement for such a wonderful couple was the best. Cheers to the happy couple and I can’t wait to see them again soon.
