Samantha and Jonathan had an intimate wedding on such a beautiful day in June. I first met Samantha at the Carlisle House Inn, where she was getting ready with her sisters. Samantha kept things easygoing and simple. Her mother and one of her sisters helped her get into her dress and shoes. Jonathan and Samantha wanted to do a first look and some portraits before the ceremony. The spot for the first look was pretty with the pink roses in bloom.
The ceremony took place at the First Congregational Church, and it was beautiful. Just after the ceremony, they did a petal toss exit out of the church as husband and wife. We then headed up to the very top of the church to ring the bell, which was an experience. We then took some portraits of family and just the bride and groom in front of the church and by the wharf just before heading to PPX events where the reception took place.
I loved the arrangements on the table they were so pretty and colorful. The hand painted menus on each plate was an extra special touch. Their family and friends had a great time mingling and enjoying cocktails and appetizers. Once everyone got settled at the table, the couple had some formal dances that were then followed by some speeches to congratulate the couple.
I loved being the one to capture their special day. It was so great to work with this wonderful couple and their family. Cheers to them! I hope you enjoy looking at their beautiful Nantucket summer wedding.
