This sweet family came to Nantucket for their summer vacation. They have come to the island multiple times but the first time as a family. While on their vacation they wanted to have a family session. They didn’t have any professional photos as a family and thought it would be the perfect time to make that happen. They were staying in the MiaComet area and I thought that MiaComet Beach would be the perfect spot. One of my favorite locations! There is just so much to offer in one area. You have the pond, the ocean, and beautiful dunes. Depending on the time of year you can get some really great sunsets too.

The day had finally arrived for their session and what great weather we had! We had an easy-going session and kept things fun. There were toss-ups, arm swings, playing, and cuddles. They brought their dog Violet to the session which I thought was great. We made sure to get some cute portraits of her too. The family’s outfit choices were perfect. It matched their surroundings and tied everything all together. I loved when the family played by the water. Their sweet daughter loved being by the waves. I had such a great time capturing this wonderful family. We truly had such a beautiful Nantucket family session.
