The day finally arrived for Bill and Dorene’s beautiful Nantucket elopement. They wanted to get married at the Brant Point Lighthouse. What a great choice to capture that charm of Nantucket. The rain held off during our time together and was scheduled to rain later in the evening. We had overcast skies that day which gave such soft light making their pictures so beautiful. They had a wonderful ceremony on the walkway of the lighthouse. There was hardly anyone around which made this moment for them even more intimate. After their ceremony, we took some more pictures around the lighthouse before heading into town. Bill and Dorene looked so great in their wedding attire. Bill looked handsome and Dorene looked gorgeous in your dress. Her bouquet was so beautiful and was tied with a silk ribbon. She had her mother’s rosary beads wrapped around her bouquet making it extra special to her. I also loved that she wore cowboy boots! Reminded me of my wedding day. I loved wearing my boots.

Town was our second location and we made sure to stop at some really great spots. We took photos in front of the iconic compass rose, the harbor, the old brick buildings, and the wharf. We also stopped by Straight Wharf where they would later have a delicious dinner overlooking the water. We took a few pictures here because I wasn’t going to be with them during that time. As we stopped at all the spots so many people congratulated them and complimented them along the way which was so fun to witness. At the end of our time together it started to drizzle. So glad the rain held off for them. I had such great time with Bill and Dorene and loved capturing their special day.
