This sweet family came to Nantucket in August for a vacation. While on vacation they wanted to have a family session. They chose to have their session in town which I thought was a great idea. The family really wanted to have a location that captured the charm of Nantucket while also incorporating flowers. They were staying in town as well making this location the perfect spot. We got lucky with a Landrover that was parked near where they were staying which was fun. We popped into the garden at the Hadwen House as well which was really nice. There we found a beautiful late blooming white hydrangea. After that, we stopped at some of my favorite historical homes along the way and we finished our session at the Methodist Church which offered some more flowers for us. We had an easy-going session and I had such a great time with this family strolling through town. We had such a beautiful evening with that warm glowy light. Loved being able to capture these memories for them. We then said our goodbyes and I left them treating themselves to some ice cream.
