Reagan wanted to take Shelby on a weekend vacation to Nantucket. While they were here he wanted to surprise her by proposing to her at sunset. I worked closely with Reagan to plan the perfect proposal. He wanted to set up a spot at Steps beach with a blanket, flower arrangement, and champagne to celebrate. I helped him by getting all of the items and then setting it all up at the location for him. The plan was for them to start the evening with drinks at the Galley Beach restaurant and then walk down the beach to watch the sunset. While on the walk they would stumble upon the setup where he would then propose. Once we had the plan all taken care of now it was just waiting for the day to arrive.

The day had finally arrived and we had the best weather! We had glowy light and clear blue skies. Before I headed to the beach I picked up the beautiful flower arrangement from Flowers on Chestnut. I had my friend with me as well to assist me with making sure the setup was perfect. It was nice that the beach wasn’t too crowded. We found a great spot over on the side to set everything up. Once we got everything into place it was go time. Soon after I saw Shelby and Reagan walking down the beach. They started to approach the blanket and Shelby was smiling. Reagan then went down on his knee to propose. Shelby was completely blown away! She was so excited and couldn’t believe it. She has the best reaction and of course, said yes! Once they had their moment we then took some photos and a champagne toast. I had such a great time capturing this exciting moment for them. They were so easy-going and so fun to work with. They couldn’t stop smiling and were so excited about the big moment making my job so easy. We finished the night off with a great sunset before they went back to the restaurant to have a delicious dinner and a beautiful evening.
