The day had finally arrived for Ryan and Raquel’s beautiful Nantucket Elopement. We couldn’t have asked for a more gorgeous day in December. I first met them at their rental in Surfside where they were staying for the weekend. Such a pretty spot to be for a little getaway. What was great about this property is that they had their own access to the beach which was wonderful. It made a great backdrop for photos. When I first walked into the home I was blown away. They had a beautiful tablescape set up for their intimate dinner they would later enjoy. The details of the table were beautiful and it all looked so inviting. They also wanted to make sure that I captured some photos with their sweet dog Oliver as well as a few of just the two of them before they got married. Oliver looked his best that day by wearing his special bowtie.

We then headed into town for a few photos. Town this time of year is so charming with all the holiday décor. We also stopped at my favorite ivy wall on the corner of Milly and Grace. Once we had our fun in town we then headed to Brant Point Lighthouse where their ceremony would take place. Reverend Linda Simmons led a beautiful ceremony in front of the lighthouse. During this time there wasn’t anyone around making it more intimate and special. After the ceremony, we then took some more photos capturing the beauty of this location. I loved that the lighthouse had a decorated wreath giving us that pop of color. We made sure to move quickly as it started to get cold and windy. They were in great spirits the whole time until it was too much to handle. We then headed back to the house for a quick toast before I left them for the evening. I had such a great time capturing their special day for them! Cheers to the happy couple.
