One of my dreams had finally come true when Laura and Geoffrey told me that they wanted to start their session at the Nantucket Juice Bar. I had always wanted to photograph a couple eating ice cream during an engagement session. I love how happy the couple always looked and the candid moments that were captured. Who wouldn’t be happy sharing ice cream with the one you love? So we did just that! We met at the Juice Bar, they ordered their ice cream and I got to photograph the happy moments across the street. They were so cute together and had those ear-to-ear smiles that I just love capturing. After they enjoyed their ice cream we then headed around town to stop at a few of my favorite places. We then went to Cobblestone Hill to get even more of that Nantucket feel. Laura has been coming here for years and really loves Nantucket and once she showed Geoffrey he fell in love with Nantucket too. So it was important to have a little bit of everything. From downtown to the beach. This couple was mostly excited about finishing their session at Steps Beach. To have that glowy light and to watch the sunset. I love photographing at Steps Beach. It is such a gorgeous beach and has a lot to offer. The landscape is so breathtaking and has the most beautiful rolling dunes with pink beach roses. It also has the most amazing sunsets. Makes for a gorgeous background for a special session such as this. I absolutely loved photographing this sweet couple. They were so funny and always cracking jokes. They wanted to have an easy-going engagement session and didn’t want the session to be serious or over the top. They wanted me to photograph them as they are in beautiful surroundings. It was such a beautiful evening and the lighting at Steps beach was amazing. They snuggled, kissed, laughed, danced, and walked along the water. I loved photographing the candid moments as they happened throughout our time together. We finished this amazing evening with a beautiful sunset. This wonderful couple will be getting married in the fall in upstate New York and I wish for them to have an amazing wedding. Cheers to the happy couple!
