My great friends are getting married in the month of August!!! I can’t wait!!! I am so over the moon excited for these two. I have known Gerry for quite some time. We have known each other since High school. I had met Laura in the summer of 2016 and we became best friends just the beginning of 2017 when she came back to the island to work at Bartlett’s Farm. The kind of bond that we have is unbreakable. Laura met Gerry met on Memorial Day weekend in the summer of 2017 on Nantucket and had bonded right away. After summer they went on a massive trip together. While they were on this amazing trip Gerry proposed to her and of course, she said yes!!! I am so happy these two have found each other. This wedding is going to be amazing and I am so happy to be the Maid of Honor and be a part of such a wonderful day. While I won’t be able to photograph the wedding I was happy to have photographed their engagement session. They chose a tucked-away beach called Madequecham. This place is out of this world. It was beautiful and the lighting was amazing. The Nantucket landscape here was spectacular. We had beautiful rolling hills of dunes and roses and a stunning pastel sky. Such an amazing backdrop for such a wonderful loving couple. After our session, we finished the night by the fire with food and friends. One thing that was extra special about that night was all the dunes were filled with lighting bugs!!! It was truly an amazing Nantucket evening.
